Christmas Activities
Christmas Dinner – Tuesday 6th December
The only available meal option on this day will be Christmas Dinner or a vegetarian option. In order that we can have an idea of those wishing to stay for lunch on this day, could you please indicate your child’s choice on the attached slip and return to school by Friday 2nd December.
If your child receives Free School Meals there will be no charge for Christmas Dinner, otherwise the usual cost of £2.10 will apply. This can be paid through your ParentPay account or by sending cash into school on the day.
Christmas Jumper Day – Thursday 8th December
All pupils and staff are invited to wear a Christmas jumper on Thursday 8th December and donate £1.00 to help support Save the Children’s vital work. Year 4 can bring a change of clothes for PE if they wish or wear joggers and trainers. Year 6 children will be at Laches Wood but will be able to take part if they wish.
Christmas Party Box and Non-Uniform – Friday 16th December
Children can wear party clothes/non-uniform and are invited to bring a party box with some party food. This is NOT their lunch and will take place during the morning. Children are encouraged to decorate a Christmas box at home as part of their design and technology project. Teachers will give more information about the boxes and prizes will be awarded for the best decorated box in each class.
Christmas Disco – Friday 16th December
Years 3 & 4 – 12.30pm – 1.30pm
Years 5 & 6 – 1.45pm – 2.45pm
We break up for the Christmas holidays at 3pm on Friday 16th December 2022. School reopens in the New Year on Tuesday 3rd January for Inset day and we welcome all pupils back to school on Wednesday 4th January 2023.
