SEN Teaching Assistant

31 hours per week

Pay Grade: G5 (point 9 to 17 - £25,584 to £30,060 pro rata to hours worked)

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? Do you have the dedication and empathy to make a positive impact on young learners? We are seeking a caring and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic and welcoming primary school team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for children with a range of special educational needs
  • Assist in the implementation of IEP’s
  • Support pupils with classroom activities
  • Encourage and help develop independence, self-confidence, and social skills
  • Monitor and track the progress of children

We Are Looking For:

  • Experience working with children, ideally in an SEN setting
  • A caring and flexible approach to working with children
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn about SEN and how to support children with diverse needs
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

ECT Class Teacher

Full Time

Pay Grade: M1 to M6

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupils development
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Holds (or is working towards) Qualified Teacher Status
  • Demonstrates a genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to inspiring children.
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Is eager to embrace new challenges and grow professionally.
