Subject: Art and Design
In Year 4 the next topic is called ‘Frozen Kingdom‘.
Over the next few weeks we would like you to draw and design an Arctic scene. It can be drawn and coloured, painted or if you are feeling creative, made using junk modelling materials.
Here are some things you could include on your picture:
- Glacier / icebergs
- Polar Bears
- Penguins
- Arctic fox
- Seals
- Sea / ocean / waves
- Eskimo fishing
You could use the following things to make your Arctic scene:
- colouring crayons / felt tips / paint
- gems / sequins / buttons / glitter
- cardboard / card / coloured paper
- boxes / tubes /
- cellotape / masking tape / glue
- pipe cleaners / straws / cotton wool
Please send your homework projects into school by Monday 16th December.
