Homework Projects

To extend their learning, and to showcase their understanding, the children will be invited to take part in several homework projects over the year. These projects will link to the topics they have been learning about as well as focusing on some of the skills they have been developing in certain subject areas.

Please find below details of the current homework project in Year 3.

Homework Project 1: Tribal Tales

Subject: Geography

In Year 3, our next topic is called ‘Tribal Tales’. Over the next few weeks, we would like you to create a comparison poster of the advantages and disadvantages to living in a city compared to living in the countryside.

On your poster you could include:

rural features
urban features
population
pollution
shops
traffic

To show the advantages and disadvantages of each, try to include:

Sketches, photographs or pictures
Tables with data and information
Bullet points
Facts

Please send your homework projects into school by Friday 6^th December 2024.
