Homework Projects

To extend their learning, and to showcase their understanding, the children will be invited to take part in several homework projects over the year. These projects will link to the topics will be learning about as well as focusing on some of the skills they have been developing in certain subject areas.

Please find below details of the current homework project in Year 6.

Homework Project 1

Subject: Geography and DT

In Year 6 the next topic is called ‘North America.’ We would like you to research a famous Landmark in North America and create a model of your choice.

You could create one of the following landmarks:

Statue of Liberty
Empire State Building
Hoover Dam
Brooklyn Bridge
Niagara Falls

You can create you model in any of the following ways:

With a pencil and crayons/ felt tips / paint
With craft and collage materials
With junk modelling materials
With clay to form texture
On a computer program like paint

Please send your homework projects into school by 22/11/23.
