Thank you Letter
16th December 2020
Dear Parents and Carers
Thank you!
I am just writing to say a huge thank you for all your support over this difficult term and I am sure you will join me in thanking all the staff at school for ensuring the safety of all our pupils as well as all their hard work in catching up for the lost learning time during the lockdown.
I would also like to say a massive thank you to the children as well – their attitudes and behaviour have been an absolute credit to the school and made our jobs so much easier.
Moving forward to next term, we will still need to keep the staggered start and finish times until further notice but will obviously review this and other changes as the Government update their guidelines. We are also hoping to reopen the canteen after February half term and provide a limited breakfast club – we will let you know the details as soon as possible.
Could I please request that you still send us the results of any positive Covid-19 tests over the Christmas holidays as I will be on call with Public Health and Track and Trace services during this time.
If you have any further questions or concerns, you can contact us through telephone (during school hours), through Facebook Messenger or by email at postbox@blakenall.walsall.sch.uk.
Thank you again for your continuing support and hope you all have a wonderful Christmas break, we look forward to seeing you all in the New Year when school reopens on Monday 4th January.
Take care and stay safe.
Yours sincerely,
Ms K J Baker
Head Teacher
