Remembrance Day
Fri 23 Oct 2020Usually, at this time of year, we sell poppies and other poppy related items to support The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal and remember those who were lost or injured in conflict.
Many are supporting the nation's efforts against the current COVID-19 pandemic and it is essential we remember the importance of donating to the Royal British Legion.
This year, due to current restrictions we are unable to sell these items in schools but should you wish to purchase a poppy or other merchandise click on the link below and you will be directed to the Royal British Legion donations page.

Blakenall and Bloxwich Food Bank & Harvest Festival
Mon 12 Oct 2020Dear Parent/Carer,
Unfortunately, due to the current situation with Covid-19 we are unable to collect items for the foodbank this year.
If you are able to donate please look out for the collection points in Asda, the Co-op or directly at their base in Blakenall Village Centre on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The items they need must be non-perishable and have a long shelf like.
- Cereal
- Soup
- Pasta
- Rice
- Tinned tomatoes/pasta sauce
- Lentils, beans and pulses
- Tinned meat
- Tinned vegetables of all types
- Tea/Coffee
- Tinned fruit
- Biscuits
- UHT Milk
- Fruit juice
- Extras may include basic hygiene care.
