  • Internet Safety and Cyber Bullying

    Fri 28 May 2021

    Dear Parent/Carer,

    Internet Safety and Cyber Bullying.

We have been made aware of an increasing number of online incidents involving our children.

Where the incidents relate to issues with classmates, often these cause further difficulties within school.  We have focused work in class on cyber bullying and how to stay safe online, including how to use privacy settings and how to report and block individuals.

We strongly urge parents and carers to monitor your child’s activities and messaging on social media and games platforms. There are also parent apps available to support parents with this.

We would also be grateful if you could alert us to any difficulties your child is experiencing online, as soon as possible, so that we can support your child in school.  We can also offer advice to parents on blocking and reporting incidents, including reporting serious incidents to the police.

Thank you for your cooperation with this matter.

    Yours sincerely,
